Hi Guys!

Quick question here, does the Gigabyte Windforce R9 290X (http://products.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-radeon-r9-290x-oc-a0-93519.htm) have a reference PCB? Or is it fully custom?

The point is to be able to use this card with the XSPC 290X full waterblock, would that waterblock work with this card?

(Also, does anyone here have a watercooled windforce 290X?)

Thanks a lot!

So it should work with the xspc waterblock?

Some of the reviews I've read mention that it isn't a reference pcb...

Here's my thoughts on it:

1, Gigabyte had a problem with their cooler or something of the sort not too long ago so it's not a reference PCB

2, It is a reference PCB but we can't really tell.

Why not just buy a reference 290x just to be completely sure?

I won't have a full loop setup for a bit, so until then I'd want to have a card with a good cooling solution, that's why.

Thanks! Is it safe to assume that if the EK full cover block works the XSPC full cover block should work too?
