Hi! I’m working on my first PC build, so if this is something simple excuse me I’m new. Hoping I’m just missing a cable or something I’m missing, but honestly I’m stumped.

I finished building my PC, and it starts for about 30seconds, then shuts off, and starts up again, and repeats over and over. No boot screen.
No beeps on the motherboard either.

I have tried

  • Removing and Repositioning the ram
  • Removing the CPU/Putting it back and reapplying thermal paste (no bent pins when I checked)
  • Removing the motherboard, rewiring all the cables and booting again.
  • Reset the CMOS
  • Ive removed the GPU tried to boot, Removed the M.2 and tried to boot, Removed one of the ram slots tried to boot

heres some pictures... maybe I’m missing something?

side note: Yea I’m aware where the M.2 is placed I moved it with hope it would fix the issue.

You sure? Boyfriend built a very similar build with the same motherboard and his runs fine? Something in my pictures saying that? I made sure my PSU was 80+ Bronze? Didn’t know EVGA was bad power supply wise...

They are not all bad, but i wouldn't rely on a 50$ PSU

Did you try booting without the GPU installed, use the Igpu from the mobo?

Yep it powers on fans spin for the solid 30 seconds and then it all shuts off and reboots, I’ve double checked that, and switched the HDMI when I tried to boot without my GPU.

Yep. I’ve even taken the whole motherboard out just to double check and make sure there wasn’t a misplaced mount or something stupid I would’ve done.
