bind: address already in use.

Ubuntu 18.14 hyper/v

 

Error: listen udp 192.168.50.239:53: bind: address already in use.


Ive tried

sudo nano /etc/dnsmasq.conf

but there is nothing in the dnsmasq.conf 

 

How can i change the listen port ?

i9-9900k 5.0ghz, 16gb Corsair 3600mhz, Asrock phantom itx z390 Mobo, RTX 3060ti, 1TB+1TB Western digital NVME, InWin A1, Noctua NH-U12S

What are you trying to run on port 53? This port is for DNS...

Ubuntu 18.04 uses systemd-resolvd. If you're trying to install some sort of DNS service, you need to disable resolvd.
