change application default install location

So, i have i 128GB SSD i cant really upgrade it at this point but i have a 5TB HDD and it would be much easier if i could install all my applications on the drive and it would be even better if those applications would cache on the HDD as well

the SSD is an ADATA (ASU800NS38-128GT-C) it is not the highest performing SSD which is why I dont think i can use it like and intel optane stick and simply consolidate all my installs onto the one drive. 

 

Any advice or suggestions?
