I keep getting the error: "A media driver your computer needs is missing." error on the boot disk I made.

Here's my hardware:

Details:

  • Making Windows 10 64 bit boot usb, but I'm using chromebook and their "Recovery" tool.  It's all I have
  • I've tried USB 2.0 and USB 3.0
  • I've downloaded the drivers for all the components and put them on another USB drive, the installer didn't see them
  • Bios says everything is there, it recognizes the hard drive

Help?

try using rufus to make it on anouther pc, there seems to be issues with iso booed from other methods. Or buy the usb or cd from microsoft

Normally media driver means there is a error reading files from the installer, often is a bad install disk.
