Hmmm... I wonder if macOS shat on dual-link dviD the way win10 did?  Might be worth going hackintosh just to make my monitor work again..

I did make sure my machine was hackintosh capable back in the day when I built it and I do have an rx580

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

A tiny little wifi card I cant even see.  It’s as old as the mobo though.  I don’t mind if it needs to die.  Wep2 was recently murdered by KROOK anyway.  It’s on my replace list

@LinusTech, I was going to try to build a configuration just like yours on the G5, but my pocket can't take it, it would be very expensive here in Brazil.

Not worth doing unless the parts are in hand anywhere.  It wasn’t that pricey when new, but the used market for old hardware like that is crazy.  I’ve considered parting out my old rig when I build a new one.

Choose the Pro version if you have the option to do so, it includes 2 years of data recovery services in case of an accident and 5 years of warranty. Recently some people have said that they have found the Exos at an excellent price and opt for this option being this an enterprise HDD for data centers, if you find any good price you could also consider it...

Unfortunately Ironwolf is cheaper without being the pro version in Brazil.

I see what you say. The IW is an easy decision anyway, you can't go wrong choosing one of those because it is one of the best in the market...

In my case, I will have to buy 5 to put in this "MacPro".

You could also search here for Brazilian distributors, choose "all" and maybe with a little luck and by contacting them you could find a good price:
