Strange Headset Sound issue

Hi guys.

 

So as the title says I've recently come into a strange issue where when I am playing a game my headset just stops producing sound after a few minutes together with this, websites like Youtube, Netflix, etc stop working and for instance on YouTube the video goes into an infinite loading icon screen. I have tried everything from reinstalling drivers, to uninstalling the device, setting it as a primary sound device etc, but nothing seems to be working.

Can anyone help me because this is pretty much my last resort... 

 

My headset is an Astro A50 with base station Playstation/PC Edition
