I am looking into a new laptop that will be for heavy business and require a lot of apps open at once. Streaming, 3-d and maybe a little gaming (<5% use)

Screen size - 15.6 preferred and no keypad if possible but can live with it.

Desires:

  1. CPU - Very fast (top end i7, 19 or AMD)
  2. GPU - NVidia RTX 2070
  3. RAM - 32 MB
  4. SSD-OS - 512 GB Samsung
  5. SSD-Storage - 1TB Samsung
  6. Keyboard - RGB
  7. Screen - 120 Hz minimum
  8. 1080p or 1440p
  9. Camera - HD (built-in)
  10. I/O - USB 3.1 Gen 2 (3 or more), Thunderbolt, HDMI,Display Port, Audio, Ethernet, SD Card reader

Looking for suggestions/comments on options and builders. Earlier Linus review said MainGear, Origin and Ibuypower were good. Others?

Thanks!

These are pre-built desktop manufacturers I only think a couple even have laptops, and their price to performance is abysmal. Not to be that guy but is there any particular reason you want to go for a laptop over a desktop?

I have an Origin Evo17-S and am quite happy with it. They are expensive, but I haven't had any issues with it. Origin does extensive testing on the units before shipping. And I believe the Evo16-S checks all your boxes(except that it has a keypad).

Hello,

Not sure why you are limited to the few manufactures listed but,

I have used AUSU ROG Laptop and in the past and had good experience with support when the display died (were fast and professional with repairs). A few friends of mine have MSI Laptops and none have complained about them.

Here is a link to a laptop that looks like it meets your requirements. Also you could go to a commuter store like Canada Computers (if you are in Canada that is). They have a nice range of gaming laptops to look at in person.

Have a power desktop and wife needs a replacement for our very old ASUS laptop. I use the desktop and she prefers to work around the house with a laptop.
