First time build need help

Hello everyone,

 

This will be my first time building a pc. I was inspired after seeing LTT videos. I am a sucker for RGB ambient lighting so naturally I want RGB lol. 
 

I’m hoping somebody could tell me if the parts I have picked out are compatible and will work the way that I want.

 

1.I want all of the RGB components (fans, gpu, aio, motherboard, ram, etc) to be able to sync together painlessly so they will all match. I want to be able to have the rgb lights light up in a way that shows it traveling from one component to the next, and sometimes just have them all be able to slowly cycle through all of the colors. And of course one static color if I choose.

 

I also have a Steelseries apex rgb gaming keyboard, and steelseries rgb prism XL mouse pad that I have connected to my macbook pro that I also want to be able to use with my pc build and have their rgbs synced with the pc components.

2. I want to be able to power on the PC by using the switch on a power strip that it will be plugged into as the case will be a bit out of reach where I plan to put it. I have read that there is usually a setting in the motherboard BIOS to do this but I don’t know if this motherboard has that.

 

3. I want to be able to connect my PC to a USB C monitor at some point as I currently have a Macbook Pro for my video and photo editing that connects via USB C hub and I will eventually have a USB C monitor. I know the GPU I picked has a thunderbolt 3 port but the description isn’t very clear on if it can be used by itself?

I would go for the Corsair ML PRO 120 RGB, by far better fans.

I stopped before picking a PSU because I read that you can’t get RGB from different manufacturers to sync together. So it kind of stopped me in my tracks lol.
 

Do they fit in the 280X case?

i think no one is answering because no one figured out how to make all the rgb work together to be honest
