Hi all,

I have tried to Google an answer to this question but I only seem to get responses about motherboard beeps and it's driving me crazy, so here I am.

Whenever I start up monster hunter world I get this bleeping sound in the atatched video. In some other games it will randomly give the same bleep but it can be after say an hour of gaming and will freeze the game for a split second. It doesn't seem to be causing a major issue but I'm just worried if it's pointing to a problem?

Thanks in advance.

I have no further idea what it might be, at least it doesn't sound very error-like; it sounds more like something is ready to go maybe, or something finished. I would check what programs are running in the background.

All I can see running in the background is macafee and steam. It happens at the same exact moment every time I launch mhw but for instance csgo could not happen at all or sometimes after a longer period

It almost sounds like some sort of notification, like Discord or something similar. I've never heard an "issue" beep sound so..calm. My best guess is it is not anything to worry about. That being said it would drive me crazy until I figured out what was causing it.

Well something like this is really hard to say, maybe something is connecting to your pc at that moment like for example a gamepad? Maybe try to disable mcafee and launch the game see if it happens then? Otherwise really no idea.

Just tried disabling everything and unplugging controller and headphones but still makes that sound.

Its driving me even more crazy now knowing its not a straightforward easy answer ha!

Haha pretty weird what else could it be then; maybe it's your monitor, switching into a certain mode?

I can now confirm after trying on another monitor and 2 tvs that it still makes the beep! Mystery still not solved haha.
