Computer regularly BSODs after installing new gpu

FeruGod

Just as the title says I recently installed an Asus GeForce RTX 2070 Super ROG Strix GPU and ever since my computer has been getting regular BSODs.It even BSODs in safe mode. I've tried reinstalling the drivers numerous times and I've made sure all of my drivers are up to date. I've also done sfc /scannow and it said that corrupted files had been detected and repaired. Before I installed the gpu I had another gpu and everything ran perfectly. Could my GPU be faulty? Any help is appreciated and thank you.

I have an Integra M 650W but before I installed this gpu, I installed another 2070s from msi but then returned it, and that one worked perfectly.

also does the bsod occur during heavy use like gaming. if so you should download a temp monitor program and see if the gpu is overheating therefore causing a bsod.

i know this is useless question but your gpu is not just running off the pcie x16 slot power it should have a extra conector for the psu to provide it extra power.

Run a memory test (just to be sure) type Windows Memory Diagnostics in Search.

I ran a memory test and it said there was a problem with my RAM but I doubt this is what is causing the BSODs as I had this RAM with my other GPU and it worked fine.

let me know if it bsods again the memory test could have fixed it because i googled it and it has worked for some people it could have been a video memory issue

since a sfc sannow detected corrupted files in your system fixed it and it is still bsoding    Windows files for running the driver might be messed up if you know your product key for windows 10 i would completely re image windows by wiping the drive and installing windows back on it. I would do this because it was most likely not a hardware issue it could be from the amount of gpus drivers you installed and uninstalled and other changes to the system.

I also suspected that my windows files might be corrupt but I didn't wipe the drive because I have a lot of stuff on there I'd like to save but I guess I'll have to wipe it.

So I reinstalled windows on another drive and I am still getting frequent BSODs... I'm going to try and use different memory sticks and gpu to see if it still crashes.

I reseated the ram sticks and then ran a memory test and it didn't detect any problems. This was about 40 minutes ago and I haven't got a BSOD since, it might've fixed it but I'm not sure, I'll keep you updated.

I just got another BSOD and then ran a memory test again and it still came up with no errors. The thing is also that the BSODs are extremely random so it is very hard and time consuming to try to find which piece of hardware is causing it.

Hey I'm back again, so I got a new GPU and played on it for about 30 minutes before it BSODd again. I'm seriously out of ideas as to what could be causing this. Any help is appreciated!
