Just wonder

I just give a random situation. 

I only have only old laptop with a new desktop(without any peripherals). So can I use the desktop just using laptop peripheral(keyboard, touchpad, monitor)? And how to do it?

The only way i can think of doing it would require you to have some peripherals to setup the desktop, like installing windows, whatever bios stuff you need to setup, etc. But then you can use remote desktop from the laptop into the desktop. You would have an amount of lag based on your network setup, ie are you using ethernet or wireless.
