I am encountering a very odd bug trying to play a game (The Golf Club 2019) and have no idea how to solve it. I've made sure Windows updates are done, updated graphics drivers, and reinstalled the game several times. The game is built on Unity, and some googling shows previous issues with Nvidia cards but largely limited to Linux. In either case, I've tried those fixes (forcing to OpenGL) and the game will shut down immediately.

I am experiencing tons of bugs as well with Google Earth... so think something has gone awry with graphics drivers or card. I just re-seated the card and ensured all power connectors were snug.

A screenshot of what's happening is here: https://vimeo.com/391683917

Some potentially helpful information:

Old config: Ryzen 1700, 16gb ram, Sata SSD, 1060 6gb --> game ran perfectly

Current config: Rzyen 3600x, 32gb ram, nvme pci, 1060 6gb, Asus Prime x570-p fresh windows install --> game induces seizures

Would be grateful for any pointers.

A little bump here. Since this post, I've also redownloaded the Visual redistributuals, .NET framework, etc.

Furmark runs beautifully, which is totally confusing me,

I don't know this game but are you sure it's compatible with open gl natively? As well as and this is very unlikely, I never had the best experience with unity games in general it could be that the engine just isn't necessarily going well with nvidea drivers

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Thanks... honestly not sure about openGL or not. I've tried forcing and not forcing OpenGL, and both ways are broken.

I do think it's unlikely it's a compatibility issue between Unity vs. Nvidia, given I was running latest drivers on the old system before moving the card to the new mobo.
