So I'm looking for a potential upgrade.

What I mean is that while streaming, my both my game and stream drop A LOT of frames. I've been trying to stream Overwatch at 720 60fps while I play at 1080 144hz.

I've been able to stream Modern Warfare before with barely no problems, so what I'm thinking that there's something funky going on with OBS

But anyways, I don't know which to go for. Either the Ryzen 5 2600, Ryzen 7 2700, or the X variant of them? Or will the 2700 /X be overkill?

Will there be any limitations on the 2600?

2700 wouldn't be overkill, but is the 3600 in budget?

it is an extra 20$ just step up to the 2700 unless you really need it

You'd be able to do fine with the 2600 for sure, but for this situation- the 2700 would benefit you fairly well

If you can afford it, the 2700 is a steal. If not, and you're more comfortable spending as little as possible then the 2600 (or 1600 AF for even cheaper)
