Motherboard doesn't find USB in boot settings

mtz_federico

I am trying to boot into linux mint in a USB to try to fix my computer but my USB doesn't show up on the boot devices list.

My motherboard is an Asus ROG Maximus VII Hero

I was able to boot into the usb in another computer

It might be labelled as something else. My current bios is like that, I forget the wording within bios.

Try enabling CSM in your BIOS, most likely the USB is legacy and not UEFI.

It's in Advanced Mode>Boot>CSM

I have it enabled and boot device control is set to UEFI and Legacy OPROM

That's strange.. have you disabled Secure Boot as well? even though it should show up regardless with Secure Boot enabled, don't know what else it could be.
