Upgrading my pc

Hey I’m planing on upgrading my rig and I need some help with what parts I should upgrade for better performance

 

my parts

i3 6100

motherboard z170 

Ram 1x8gb 2133

pgu 550w Corsair 

750ti 

1tb hard drive

Better performance for doing what? And was this a custom build or a store-bought PC?

 

1. An Intel CPU with more cores (maybe an i5 or i7) of the same or newer generation... provided your Z170 motherboard supports it.

 

2. Another 8GB of RAM of similar speed... provided your motherboard has another DIMM slot.

 

3. An SSD, even if it's just for the OS. Will feel more responsive by doing this first if you've been using HDDs for a while.

 

4. A more recent GPU. But that will, again, depend on what you plan on doing with this PC and how much you're willing to spend.

I saw in your last post, you said you played games. What resolution do you want to play at?

I live in Sweden and I just want to be able to play at 1080p with no FPS drops.

 I have 200$ to spend

Look for a used i7 6700 and a used rx 570/580
