So I recently decided to build a new pc but my ram won't increase from 2133mhz, I've tried going into my bios and messing with the settings but every time I do either it fails to boot or like when I have it at 2666mhz my CPU tends to over heat and scares me so I turn it back down. Should I not be scared? Is there a forum or a video to help me?

The specs are-

GPU - EVGA 2070 Super 8gb

Ram - Corsair Vengeance 32gb 3200mhz

MB - Asus Rog Strix B450F

CPU - AMD Ryzen 2700x

PS - EVGA 750w 80+ Gold

CPU Cooler - Wraith Prism

When you say overheat, what do you mean by overheat? What temps are you getting? Also, enable XMP profiles on the ram. That should do the ticket

Also, are you using stock cooling? Temps are normal if they getting up into the low to mid 80s.

Be sure to @Pickles von Brine if you want me to see your reply!

I was get 86 degrees, but the scary part was my whole case was getting to the point where I couldn't put my hand on it because it was too hot ( my front glass panel at least), I've tried to use the D.O.C.P profile that the b450F comes with but when I enabled it my pc doesn't boot and just resets everything.

Yes I'm using the cooler that came with the ryzen 2700x
