EIDE and the pins next to it are for selecting master and slave (main drive and secondary drive). The power is provided by molex. I'm sure there's an EIDE (mostly known as IDE) to USB adapter out there.

You might not find much on it, if anything. But it will sound hella cool when you power it up.

My stepdad really just wants to get rid of it when I showed it to him but I really want to hear it powered up not that you say that. Any suggestions for what I should do?

If all you wanna do is power it up and you don't care about what data may be on it, you can just plug it into any molex power from the PSU that would be in just about any PC - even a modern one.

 

Usually they sound pretty cool. I have kept a stack of drives just cause they sound really cool when they power up. Not all of them may sound interesting, but I've found most do.
