Internet speed...

So I redeemed my titanfall key earlier and just started the download. For the past 3 years my internet speed has been roughly 2.5 MB/s at best. Well now downloading this game it is showing... drum roll please.... 10MB/s! It's going to download nearly 13 gb in 20 minutes... Maybe I'm just being nostalgic but I remember growing up with dsl in the early 2000's and having a mac download speed of 150 kb/s. Would take 8 hours for a 700mb file. Even though I have these fast speeds now it still amazes me how fast it really is. That 700mb file that use to take 7 hours, would be done in about 5 minutes now. That's just crazy and I know there is faster speeds out there.

 

Do any of you guys get amazed at how fast internet is actually becoming, thinking back to how slow it was in the past? 

My Rig :  Case: Cooler Master HAF X ,Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H,PSU: Seasonic SS-750KM3,Processor: Core I7 4770k (overclocked 4.7ghz),Cooler: Corsair H100i, GPU: EVGA GTX 780 with acx cooler, RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb DDR3 1600 (overclocked to 2000mhz), HDDS  Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb SSD , Western digital  2tb 7200 rpm 64mb cache, Old 1tb laptop drive I had , 320gb for os backup daily, 80gb external for weekly backups,Drives 2x Lg Blu Ray burner WH16MS40,MISC: Tp-Link dual band wireless card, Logitech g510s, Razer Deathadder 2013, Acer G236HLBbd 23" monitor, Old tv I had 23" for secondary monitor, old 32" samsung tv third monitor

Right after I said that, It boosted up to 3.2 MB/s and there's like 10 minutes left xD
