Hi guys,

I've been struggling to figure out how to control my LEDs with my case and distro block. So I have a Hue 2 from NZXT and I use it to control the 2 RGB strips and 3 120mm fans I have installed. I also use Asus aura to control the LEDs outside of my case, but I've recently purchased a Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL and the EK distro plate for them and I'm unsure how to control the 5v addressable LEDs that come with them. Should i be purchasing a new LED controller?

i have about 5 RGB software programs on my PC now and I don't really fancy anymore. (on a separate note, is there a unified RGB software yet?)

Edit: I don't have a 3 pin connector on my motherboard (Asus Strix B450-F), time for a new motherboard?

Cheers

I have the same motherboard as you, and it is kind of annoying that most RGB strips seem to be 5V since this board only has 12V connections. The only solution i found is to use a controller. I also hate the sheer amount of rgb programs we have to use, especially since it seems to me like none of them are even that great. So I bought Fractal Designs RGB controller for my RGB strips, it's completely software free (there is a small controller with buttons and a magnet on the back you use to control it). That's my best suggestion.
