Hi everyone,

I often put my PC in 'sleep mode' rather than turn it off when done using it. Over the weekend I attempted to 'wake' my PC but the screen remained blank. I was forced to do a hard reset and it did post but wouldn't go past the BIOS screen. After several attempts with the same result, I unplugged the power cord and held the power button on the PC to discharge the capacitors on the PSU. I then plugged the power cable back into the back of the PSU and voila, it booted as normal.

Is this a sign that my PSU is going bad?
