Clip on microphone

Hi

So i'm thinking of buying the audio-techinca ATH-M50X but I would need a mic with it too so I'm looking for some clip on microphones. You guys know any good one's? The only one i know is the AntLion ModMic but I find them a bit stupid because they need special sound cards for them to work.

Please comment.

Thanks

I don't think the ModMic needs a "special" soundcard, but there's a list of "approved" motherboards and sound cards, go have a look at that, it's somewhere on their site.

but the Zalman clip on mic thing is "decent" for VOIP use, though some might find it not quite good enough. You could look at the Blue Snowflake, it can be put either on your desk or on your monitor.

I have this mic and I literally have to shout for anyone to hear me. Unless I add boost which just ruins the sound quality.

I recommend this mic with these headphones.

I personally think that the sound on the M50s is boring.

Edit: I think the m50x will work with the mic so if you really want them go for it.

Edit: The mic might not work on the m50x.

You'd spend more on shipping than just buying a new one.

Free shipping for defective items but just driving to the post office is like $3 of gas so it is not worth it.
