I have yet to run my h100i full load and I know that the idle temps dont mean much but they are averaging 30-34* c. Is that normal?

Hey. Yup, my idle temps are around that. You can use Corsair link to monitor the temps of the CPU and the water in the loop. It can be quite handy, just to make sure that the water temps are decent (under load mine is around 35 degrees C) and my CPU temps are 75-80.

Yup!  :D (I do have to ramp the fans up a little) but other than that, it's a good cooler!

Load temperatures are the most important. If those aren't too high, then you're fine.

with a 3770k at 4,5 Ghz paired with a  100i 75-80 degrees isn't impressive at all, if anything hes at the thermal limit as to where you should push your cpu before if gets stupid.

75-80 stress testing is what I get with my 4670K @ 4.6 with an NHD14.

It usually depends on your ambient temperatures, whether or not you've overclocked your processor, and, if so, how much you've overclocked it. My 4670K idles anywhere between 22°C and 28°C, but that's with no overclock, a Cooler Master Glacer 240L with two Noctua NF-F12s, and the heating in my house sucks. In any case, 30°C-34°C is a perfectly acceptable range.

Putting in a few words just to reassure you, that's what I'm getting at idle with a 4670k. Full load @ 4.4GHz gets it up to mid-70s, though my fans are plugged into the motherboard headers and not the pump itself (somewhere between silent and normal setting for an h100i).
