Hello interweb users, im going to buy a samsung 840 evo 120gb ssd today and i want to use at least 40gb as a cache for my hardrive and the other 80gb for whatever else.
But im a noob when it comes to things like these, so could i use a 840evo as a cache drive? and if so, how would i? can i use intels SRT or is that intel drives only? Any help is appreciated, smiley face c:

8gb Kingston hyperxblue 1600mhz
Gtx 660 SC
Asrock z77 extreme 4
Corsair cx 750w
Seagate barracuda 2tb
Wd Blue 500gb

Why not use the SSD for your Boot drive and your mechanical for running games/programs/etc. etc.

 

Edit:

C:\ = SSD (Boot)

D:\ = Game Installs

E:\ + F:\ = Storage (obviously)
