Right, but it might be getting some power, but not enough to fully boot up. For example, you could have the 20 pin in, but not the 4 pin. It'll still light up, but it won't post.

However, assuming all power connections are in securely, I'll move onto the next most likely components.

Is your motherboard grounded properly with the risers? Have you overclocked your cpu? I'm guessing you've at least looked into it as you have the k edition ;).

I haven't even been able to get into the bios to set my boot drive, this is my first time turning it on :(

You've got a debugging LED, what's the code it gives you? Next to the 24pin adapter.

it doesn't give me a code, it doesn't stay on long enough it just cuts off

Then you've either got a PSU issue or a DOA motherboard. Have you got a Voltage Meter?

I think it might be a psu cable issue, when I was sleeving I broke a few of the cables and ghetto repaired them :/

Have you tried to build the computer outside the case?  Bench test?  Possible short somewhere.

Also, may be a BIOS issue... perhaps it needs to be flashed.

Well this might be it too... need to try another PSU or sleeve to be sure.
