Hi,

does anybody have any idea why the "AMD OVERCLOCKING" section in my bios is missing?

ryzen 5 2600x

x570 aorus elite

current f11 bios

There seem to be a handfull of users having the same problem, but none of them got any answers.

One user claimed, the "AMD OVERCLOCKING" section is only available for ryzen 3xxx and up, but i've seen the menu in overclocks with the 2700x, so this is invalid.

Sadly, this is a new system and i have no other am4 cpu available to test if it's cpu dependant.

If anybody has any idea how to tackle this problem, please let me know.

Well..... You can try the tweaker tab, should be some stuff there to adjust.

In fact you should explore the entire BIOS if you haven't already, sometimes stuff is kinda hidden and you have to dig around to find it all. Don't be afraid to go into the various things you find, as long as you don't save any changes before figuring out the BIOS it's OK.

Just hit ESC to exit without applying/saving any changes until you've leared the layout of it's BIOS.

It's more about why it's hidden. I've seen screens of the same bios version and same motherboard and the menu is there.

I currently need it to adjust voltage for manual memory overclocking. But this has become secondary, now i only want to know why the menu isn't there.

My current guess is, either the 2600x or the memory (cmk16gx4m2d3600c18) is somehow blocked or not compatible for such changes. I'd need to test it with other hw, but currently i have nothing available. Also my ryzen master gui is different from what i found online (i thought maybe i can change the values there, but no). it's really weird.

Try using CTRL and F1 at the same time at the BIOS home screen.

Gigashiite loves hiding advanced BIOS settings with accessibility gained by using those keys to open up those options.

Hello,

One question please, did you find out why that section is missing? I am dealing with the same issue now.

Thanks!

Nope, sadly i didn't figure it out. But i had to return the board anyway because half the memory slots where kinda faulty.
