I'm about purchase my first monitor since the 90's when CRT's where all the rage (haha....^^;).  I notice that some will have both hdmi and display ports as video input.  Do monitors like that have a toggle for which input you're viewing or are users forced to pick one or the other?

Yes they do have a toggle for you to be able to choose which input to display, though there might be cases where that's not true for some monitors that I'm not aware of, even my cheapo monitor has that function.

Any display with multiple inputs will have this function. It's just a dedicated button next to the OSD button(s).

Sweet.  Thanks for the replies.
