Headphone for big head

creativename

I have a fairly large head, I think. I wear 7 3/4 hat (well my wheel cap and flight cap was this size), and I'm looking for a decent pair of headphones. I'm also going to buy a USB dac with it.

My budget is up to 400 dollars(including tax, california tax is like 10%)

I'd like to use amazon is possible.

I don't have any specific brand I prefer, if it sounds good, I'm fine with anything,

Would you like open or closed headphones? I think the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X could work, but they don't have much bass. for closed, Shure SRH440 with 840 pads, or if you absolutely want to, 840's or 940's, but they won't sound THAT much better, the 440's with 840 pads are a great value.

EDIT: also, Beyerdynamic DT770/880/990's could do alright.

Sennheiser HD 600.

No. I have a bigger head them him, and they didn't fit.

OP - AD700x/900x work well with bigger heads. AKG Headphones generally fit me well, along with the DT 770/880/990 series from beyer.

What? Your head won`t fit on the 600`s ? Do you have your head as big as a building or what?

No, asshole, I wear a size 8 hat.

Spending more money won't make the headphones fit better...they all use the same wing design.
