copy games over usb

Me and my friends want to play neverwinter but their internet is not too good, so i was think why dont I just copy the game files onto a USB key and put it on their pc. It would work right?

No, the games most likely have other dependencies such as Direct X or even possibly registry keys.

 

If you have the installer, then yes, you can put that onto a usb and copy over.

yup. Definitely dont support that... think of the programers... and the companies behind the games. This is one of the reasons I think that good games are SO rare these days...

It can work, if you are lucky... Sometimes it will have some dependency problem, or something...

works for some games, i play a game called osu! it is a very light game which only requires the files that are added to your program files folder. not sure about this type of game, i think if you have EXACTLY the same system it might work because of subtle optimizations the installer makes? not 100% positive but yeah no harm in trying, i'd put the installer on the usb aswel just incase it doesnt work and you dont have to mess around putting it into your computer again.
