Hi guys,

I am looking forward to buy a laptop for learning Unity and Unreal engine.

I have 2 choices of laptop

which laptop should i go for?

or should i consider anyother laptop?(please mention its brand and specification)

since i wont be in a place for long i prefer laptop.

please help me! :)

It really depends on what you want to do with it. If you're focusing on gaming get the one with 1660ti. If you're gonna be in more cpu demanding works get the one with the i7.

 

Also don't forget to check out asus zephyrus g. It's around the same price and it may be a little short on the cpu with its ryzen 7, but it's a really portable low key gaming laptop. If you don't wanna give off a too aggressive gamer vibe that's the one for you. It has a 1660ti btw.

Have you considered looking for at laptops with the i7-8750H to save some money? I believe that the CPUs are basically the same but the i7-9750H can turbo higher. As no laptop cooling is sufficient to prevent thermal throttling, you'll never manage to use the extra speed in the real world anyway, so why not save some money and get one with a better GPU anyway?

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.
