Hey guys so i am doing some mining for nicehash even tho its pretty crappy right now. anyways i have put a second gpu in the second gpu is a rx 560.

It will not show up on device manager. Primary gpu is an rtx 2060.

Specs are

Amd ryzen 7 1800x

rtx 2060 super

Rx 560

800 watt psu

Amd b450 pro mobo

couple ssds

Anyways the issue is i dont know what steps to take for it to show up. I have it plugged in and i tried to install drivers for it but the drivers say it doesnt recognize it or whatever. My question is what steps do i have to take to get it to work in my system. i think its in a 4x slot but should still show up and work

Does it say anything about it in the BIOS?

By the way, why do you have two totally different GPU's in your system?

no it does not show up in device manager and i dont see anything in bios for it for switching or anything. And it says in my description im mining nicehash

Are you overpopulating the PCIe lanes?  B450 boards split lanes between the PCIe x16 slots to x8 x8 but if you have specific M.2 slots filled, etc they take from the PCIe lanes available to those slots.

Example on my ASRock B450 - if I use NVMe M.2(I haven't read manual in a while but plan on crossfiring for fun so already did the research on my board) I take the x8 to x4 or to nothing at all (I cant remember the exacts its been a year but Im ready for when I put my other Fury in) in that slot as it uses those PCIe lanes for the NVMe M.2 slot instead.  B450 chipset doesn't have a lot to work with.

oh i see thanks for responding im starting to understand. I do have an m.2 nvme and i have another pc mining that has a ryzen 7 2700x and an rx 580 with a MEG x570 Ace mobo. Do you think it would be easier to throw it in that system then this system?
