School laptop

My I'm currently using a Toshiba satellite p-50a. But I just moved to a new school that doesn't allow me to use it. They want me to rent a dell 3380 with an i5-7200u. I trying to find something that looks similar but has higher specs for around $800 aud. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even just anything with a better keyboard. This is un-usable.
