Hi Guys,

It is my first time building a PC on my own and I'm kinda unsure what parts to pick.

Some quick background:
I'm a graphic designer that reside in Singapore, a place where all the electronic is super expansive?

I enjoyed playing majority of the triple-A games and would like to have a PC build that would have no issue in playing any of them, and rendering Adobe Software such as;

- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator

My budget - SGD$2500 - SGD$3000 (excluding peripherals). Likely be running a 1 monitor setup at min. 1440p

Draft

CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x
MOBO - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi
RAM - 2x 8GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600
Storage - 1tb Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD
Graphic Card - EVGA RTX2070 Super XC Ultra Gaming 8GB OC GDDR6
Case - Fractal Design Meshify C
PSU - ?? (Need help selecting PSU)
Cooler - ?? (Need help selecting Cooler)

Main Question:
1. I have no intention of upgrading my PC unless required, should i get Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) for future-proofing? Is it worth the money to get it?

2. Will my part selections have any clearance issue? I have tried checking on pcpartpicker, but some claims that it is not accurate.

3. Does this build requires additional add-on fans to maintain its thermal at a cool temperature?

Do let me know if there are any part that I have picked overkill / bottleneck.

Any suggestion/feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks.

The Crosshair VIII Hero is totally unnecessary, unless you plan on doing extreme LN2 overclocking with a 3950X. The X570-E offers almost all of the Hero's features, but you could also drop to a TUF X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) for a further cost reduction, and you still won't be losing out on much that's notable.

If you're not set on the look of this particular Trident Z Neo kit, you could save some money there as well by going with a less RGB kit.

For the cooler, I picked the U12S chromax.black but a Dark Rock 4 would be fairly equivalent in performance, but if you want to do some more overclocking and don't mind the extra bulk, you could go for a NH-D15 or a Dark Rock Pro 4 (check for RAM clearance compatibility if you decide for go with a dual-tower though).

Way over the op's budget. His Currency is the Singapore Dollar not the USA Dollar.

Have thought about getting the X570-E before, but base on other online review comparing both motherboard, they have stated that x570-E line should be skipped and crosshair is clearly the better option. I'm at a lost...

What exactly is it the better option for, from what you've read?

You're getting almost everything the Hero has to offer but at a lower price, and it's already an overkill board for even a 3950X on ambient cooling.

You could go for a X570-F which should be cheaper, but it drops the Wi-Fi, or as previously mentioned, the TUF X570-Plus Wi-Fi, the latter being less than half the price of the Hero and still offering all of the features you'd realistically need.

I would look at reviews for X570 motherboard to help you decide.  I'm partial to Gigabyte and Asus, but that's mostly for personal preference and I've bought ASRock motherboards, too for their use of Thunderbolt 3 ports.  At a certain point you are just paying for the higher tier branding and some extra features you may or may not be interested in.

I'm not sure how many fans come with the Meshify C, but I would plan on buying at least one extra fan if not three.

If you have room in your budget I would get the 3900X since you aren't planning any upgrades.

My bad, have look up on the review again and realize the comment was not true. Most likely will be getting the strix-e mobo as suggested. Thanks for the help.?

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately 3900X is way off my budget sourced locally.
