Hi I'm a tech newbie, I really like the m17 alienware, my question is as a casual gamer will the base model 1660ti  with the i7 be enough for the occasional game? Will I lose a lot of battery life with the 2060 is it worth it?

on their website, the only config with the 1660 ti has 8GB of ram, whereas the 2060 config has 16GB, which might also be important to consider.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Yeah I'm looking for a new laptop and I really love the way the m17 looks. On the website I messed around with the configurations. The I7 with the 1660ti and 16gb is the one I'm looking at. I'm just wondering if that GPU is good enough for casual games or should I spring for the 2060 I also want to know how much battery life would differ.

You can configure it with 16gb and an I7. My concern is just the GPU is the 1660Ti good enough for casual games or should I get the 2060 also is the difference in battery life significant?
