Hi LTT team.

Your videos are epic.

I want to build a brand new PC from scratch but there is so much to choose from and I end up just adding to the cart the most expensive stuff following the rule of more expensive is better of course that this goes way out of my budget.

The budget: I live in the UK and I am setting a budget of £1000 (no mouse, keyboard needed nor screen as I will be hooking it up to a 65" 4K TV.

My asking to you, would you be able to "build" me a rig that fits my budget using Amazon UK?

Would be cool if you could make a video of it on your YouTube channel for your UK based fans as usually all your videos are in USD.

The rig would be for some casual gaming but in a good res and good fps if possible.

Generally speaking I play Fifa, F1 a couple of first person shooters and some PS 4 exclusives but I want to get away from console gaming and get back to pc gaming.

If at all possible could you advise as well on a horizontal case media centre stile? But if that gets in the way of build quality/cooling efficiency I can live with a vertical case no probs.

Many thanks and keep up with you awesome videos.

Regards,

Daniel

they're not gonna spend time to help out some random guy on the forum, generally the forumers are the ones helping you pick out whatever you need.

the case you picked has enough clearance for the stealth. latency on that ram kit isn't very good, wouldn't be that much better over a regular 3000-3200mhz kit.

tnx, I have been looking arond trying to figure the max amount of RAM just for future in case need to increase RAM for photo/video edting, do you think that in that case wold be better a single 16GB ram @3200mhz and if needed upgrade with onether 16 and eventually another 2 to get a total of 64GB?

stick with a dual channel 16gb kit unless you know you'll be upgrading soon.

You mentioned that the case has enough clearance for the stealth, sorry for asking, what's that?

Ah cool.

Regarding the case and its placement, since its a HTPC thinking of fitting it where the PS4 pro is on the pic.

although I am not expecting to do much heavy lifting with the PC, still wonder about cooling.20200208_153109.thumb.jpg.32700dcb70b3ea3652eb09c73c387f3c.jpg

there's enough space in there that it shouldn't stop airflow from getting into the case.

Cool, tnx.

Going to use the stock cooler with it for now and no need to get the SSD has for storage I got a 1.5TB HDD that leaves me at about 880.00 any suggestions on upgrading any of the components fo the remaining 120.00?

having an SSD as a boot drive makes your PC feel much more responsive then one with a HDD, not worth skimping out on it.

OK, now I got confused, can't boot from the M.2?

M.2 is just a form factor.

hum... so it would work if I use the M.2 for boot, OS and a coule of apps, and use the 1.5TB HDD just for storage, pics, videos etc etc?

yes.

yes.

Since I got 120.00 to spare, you think I would get a noticeable vantage by getting the Ryzen 7 3700x for the extra 120.00?

Or go for the Nvidia 2070 super (if it fits on the case)

Or just leave it as it is and get more ram and maybe a ssd down the line?

(also for PSU I went for the corsair 650w)

you're better off with the 2070 super.

you don't need 32gb for a gaming PC.

which exact model?

850w is just a waste of money when you only have a single GPU.
