Hi everyone,

So, recently I built my wife a PC of her own and she installed an android emulator called, 'bluestacks' to play star trek online. At first I was temporarily using an insignia power supply, which I know is crap but everything seemed to work 100% fine. Last night, I removed it and installed a thermaltake 500w 'smart' power supply. I'll mention that everything is set at factory speeds and voltages in UEFI. I wasn't there to witness this, but she said that she would receive a BSOD every few minutes while playing the game. I have yet to witness the error myself but she said it notified her about a memory error. Last night I ran Prime95 for about 15 minutes, no errors. I also ran the Windows memory diagnostic test overnight but found the computer sitting back in Windows when I woke up. I navigated to the event logger and there was no record of a memory test ever ran? So, I don't know if it crashed or what happened...

My question is, do you guys believe there is a problem with the new PSU or the game? Like I mentioned, she had no issues with the 'crappy' Insignia PSU and played for hours without any BSOD. I'm not quite sure how to diagnose this - As far as I'm aware 'bluestacks' is the only program she got the blue screens. Thanks!
