hello, first time builder here

this year I study network manager, and learned a bit or two about hardware (not always applicable to what Is needed in this day and age).

currently we are busy with setting up linux server, virualisation and got info about our end project. I thought it would be good to get a decent work station / + desktop for gaming.

I used pc partpicker to get started and searched some local stores where I might get those parts. I just want to ask if there are any improvements, remarks or tips anyone has.

im mainly not sure if the case is big enough

here is the link to the rig I would like to build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4tbsn7

thanks in advance for any reply

Thomas

i'd start from something like this.

msi make better b450 motherboards.

the cooler you picked is crap.

you need 2 sticks of ram, to run them in dual channel. also they need to be at least 3000MHz

the ssd and hdd you chose are ancient and slow.

the case is cheap and ugly

the g3 has some problems
