Hi Guys,

I have recently been given alot of parts by my brother in-laws whom upgraded their system so;

1) I was wondering what is the best gaming PC I can build out of what I have. The rest I will sell and put the money towards a new Ryzen System

2) if there is anything left then want to build a home server box.

CPU's:

Intel i7 2600 3.8Ghz LGA 1155

AMD Phenom II X4 965BE 3.4Ghz LGA 1366

Intel (R0 Xeon(R) E5450 3.0Ghz LGA 771

Motherboards:

Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR

ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3

Gigabyte GA-HA65M-D3H0B3

RAM:

Crucial 16GB(2 x 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz)

Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit 4 x 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz

Corsair CM3 8GB(2 x 4GB Dual Channel DDR3  1333Mhz)

Storage:

2 x SSD's, 1 x 3.5" Samsung 500GB HDD, 1 x 80GB WD Black HDD, 1 x 1TB WD Green HDD.

I'd keep the i7 2600, that Gigabyte GA-HA65M-D3H0B3 and the crucial 2 x 8GB kit until you have money for a ryzen system, after that it'll make a nice little home server, especially with all that storage, altho I wouldn't put any important data without backup on there, cause they might fail soon and the odds are only getting worse, except for the SSDs they might be good for some more time.
