So on one of my computer's I have XP and Vista both 32bit and a GT240 graphics card.

I've reformatted the Vista drive and am reinstalling Vista. I've downloaded the graphics driver off Nvidia's website and when I try to install it says that "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

I've redownloaded the driver making sure I selected Vista 32bit and GT240. My GT240 is working fine in XP and was working in Vista before I reformatted.

Off topic: I've now wasted enough time to achieve my 500th post.

did you already install all the updates for vista? sometimes it takes multible restarts for it to detect all the updates like service packs and so on. Maybe the os will recognize the card after updating?

Edit: Also have look into your device manager and see weather the computer acually detects the hardware... or you might have just downloaded the wrong driver

I've been updating for a while but I guess I'll try to get more updates. I'm usually able to install the driver pretty quickly.

Because I have it and it has DX10. I have three computers and I just move the hardware/software down to the lower pc as I upgrade my main pc. And my main PC has Win7.
