Lsi RAID config

I recently bought a lsi 9240-8i megaraid card and when i made first raid5 array i choose the write policy "write through" but i later found out that this slows down write speed .

 

The problem is that when i  go into the properites of the virtual drive and go to write policy there is not an option to change it to "write back" does anybody have any tips on this?

The 9240 does not have any onboard cache so your writes with a RAID-5 will be slow regardless. I could be wrong but I believe write-back can only be used if you have a BBU installed (battery backup unit) but your card doesn't support BBU's since it has no cache.
