Edit: Drivers are installed, no crashes yet. Installed Chrome and Steam without a failure. Ill test a game and if no crashes happen, ill consider this solved.

See if it runs stable for a while then enable the memory profile in BIOS and if all is good, happy days! :)

My brand new PC keeps freezing randomly regardless of what is running every few minutes and ive got no idea what is going on. Ive set the RAM profile in the bios to run at its rated speed, run all the updates I can, made sure the cooler is seated properly, and still cant figure out what is wrong.

OS: Win 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: Asus TUF B450M Gaming mATX (Bios vers. 2006)
RAM: 2x8gb G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200mhz
GPU: Powercolor AMD 5700xt Red Dragon
PSU: Powerspec 650W 80+Bronze

Hi, what screws did you use to secure your motherboard?

I had this exact problem when my motherboard did not have a path to ground through every screw.

You can try pressing gently beside a screw and make sure it does not flex and also make sure you use correct screws that don't wear out the contact-points of the motherboard.

Do you have the same issue with the RAM running the default profile?

Had a different issue with that. I would get a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error. After RAM was set to run at 3200mhz that stopped but the freezing is still around.

An old version off a USB my dad had

Make a bootable USB using the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, don't choose to repair or upgrade this PC.

I would load optimized defaults in your BIOS, make sure you have the latest BIOS version.

Install windows from the USB.

Make sure all windows updates are finished then install the latest Chipset Driver for your motherboard.
