Computer restarts when GPU is under load

I built my pc last February. Was very excited to play. Built it it worked perfectly for months. Then my job got in the way I wasnt able to use it very much and it sat for about 2 to 3 months. Well i finally got some time to play and when i booted up everything looked normal. But as soon as i booted up a game, the system restarts. Ive ran cpu tests the system runs fine, but as soon as I start furmark the system restarts again. So I'm thinking there is either a problem with the gpu or the psu. They are both still under warranty so if I have to rma I can but I'd like to avoid it.

Asus z390e motherboard

I9-9900k

32gb 3000mghz ram

Rtx 2080ti

Samsung m.2

Whats your PSU Wattage?

Example: 750w

 

Sounds very common in possible bad psu situations or underpowered psu's.

GPU most likely throwing the PSU protections... means either the voltage control of the GPU is bad or the PSU is.

 

Try another video card if possible too.

It's a 750w power supply. And unfortunatly I dont have another gpu to try... so im guessing in just going to have to rma these parts? Should I just go ahead and do both or?

Ok I feel really stupid. Everything is running fine now. I had my 2080 connected to 1 cable split into 2. I plugged in 2 separate cables to the psu and everything is now stable. Thank you all for the help!
