So my windows killed itself recently and so I go to startup my pc and it says missing operating system.  I then download one of those windows iOS copies onto a flash drive plug it in and start my pc up again. I go through the process until it ask me what drive id like to download it to and my ssd and hard drive say my disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.

so if you're cluey, you can get by using cmd prompt to convert the types of disks, but honestly download and burn a rescue disk using an iso from any of the partition software companies...and use it to do the conversion...much easier and thus; almost foolproof...

EaseUS or Partition Manager...and there's plenty of others....
