As this is my first pc build I am not too sure if I did this right so I’ll write what iv done so far,

as my pc parts arrived today, a b450 tomahawk max and a amd ryzen 7 3700x.

so I put my ddr4 ram in the mobo a2 and b2 slot as manual says. Then I inserted the cpu it had no physical damage and slotted in with no issues, then I insert my gtx 1660ti pny oc xlr8 fan, as I turn the power on it wouldn’t boot and shown the red cpu led on the motherboard, I have no idea what iv done wrong or what to do if anyone has any idea please mention. Thank you!

Is all you cables connected properly? Make sure 8pin cpu cable is inserted fully.

Did you install your CPU cooler correctly? Sounds like there's no contact between CPU and MoBo, which leads to no pressure on CPU from cooler. Just a guess.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.
