I am building my first pc, unfortunately my pc will not be able to be used close to the router until I move in the near future. I was looking to install a wireless card but unsure of what one to choose. Any help would be greatly appreciated
The build has nzxt h510 case, asus rog Strix x470, ryzen 2700x, gigabyte rx 5600 xt, Samsung evo 970 500gb m.2 NVMe, and a 1tb western digital ssd

If its temporary then Id say any POS WiFi adapter will work. If you want something good however Id recommend PCIe card thats at least WiFi 5(AC), if you want something a bit more useful, then a WiFi card with Bluetooth built in might be nice.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

TP link Archer T6e for just a WiFi card. about $35

I like bluetooth and personally have the MSI AC905C (which has WiFi and Bluetooth). about $30

As long as you get a good brand name you should be fine though.

Asus AC 3100 (very fast). About $100

All the cards I listed are PCIe.
