Hello! I have a somewhat old pc with a core i7 6700HQ and im wondering what graphics card I should upgrade to, without bottle necking. I have no limit on price range. I was going to buy the RX 5700XT but someone said that the cpu might not be good enough.

Thank you!

PS. Im aware that the CPU is a mobile CPU i have a plan

Pss:im looking at at the most $400 4k but im ok with turning it down, 4k is not an expectation it is a privelage, need to do vr, 60 hz

What resolution?

Example:

1080p my 2060 was bnecked by my measely i5 4c/4t

Now at 1440p its balanced

At 4k the 2060 would become the bneck

Yes, then you're looking at a 5700xt. Don't worry about bottlenecking. Even if you are cpu-limited, you're still going to have a better experience than you have now and you're going to have a good gpu for when you decide to upgrade cpu in the future.
