Low Cost Graphics Card

Just wondering what the best graphics card is for $150

im in the Uk so prices might be a little different but i would recommend the 7850,7790 or the 650 ti maybe the BOOST edition if your lucky.

all that i have pu tin have 3 monitor support. They will all struggle if you want 3 monitor gaming

I was looking at the gtx 650 by evga

the 650 is ok but it does struggle with some new games. The 7770 or the 7790 do beat it however that evga gpu looks very nice

The 7770 will fit your budget and does perform well against the 650.

i usually choose nvidia but for the money i would go 7790.

I was looking at that gpu was because I am doing an itx build in the bitfenix prodigy

some places even sell the 7770 or the 7790 with games so thats a one up for AMD. If you want phyxs then 650 or the 650 ti is the best

If you can save up, the Asus 670 MINI is perfect for the Bitfenix Prodigy

the bitfenix should be able to house that 650 ti BOOST and you will want a blower fan

The motherboard I was looking at has a build in outputs and things, how would that work if I want to later use a gpu?

yes most cpus have intergrated graphics and if you saved up some money liek mayeb 50-100 more thenyou could get a beast set up. eg 7870,7950,(4 gtx titans),(a car), or a 660(maybe ti)

just plug in the ports and your done for the integrated. installing a gpu is easy youtube has hundreds of videos. Make sure you have a pci-e slot  and enough power and a six pin plug. If you dont have a six pin then the 7750 is the best you can get.

If you have HD3000 or 4000, it would be ok in some games at 1080p  with low settings but it's nowhere near as AMD's APU.

btw with my 6450 i have a trick to gets much better frame rates and as the hd3000/4000 are in the same ballpark this is going to be helpful. By changing a game from auto or dx11 or dx9 the frame increase by about 60% eg bad company two i could barely play it at minimum settings now i play at 1680x1050 with higher frames and the only difference is the shadows

Your bet is to just simply lower down the resolution to achieve the minimum of 30 FPS.

For about ten dollars more get a GTX 650 ti Boost with 2gb of RAM.
