Random shut offs are cooling issues, usually the CPU trying to save itself. So I'd suggest checking there first.

How would I go about checking? Sorry I’m new to PC owning/building.

I downloaded it but I’m not sure what temperature is unsafe or what I should be looking for.

If Package temp is higher than 75~80c i would start worrying

Could be the psu. Do you have a spare one to test? MemTest86 your ram?

No I only have that PSU, I’ll do the MemTest in a bit, any other suggestions?

Well, you are going to need another psu to test. If we can rule out psu and ram then we can narrow down to the gpu then motherboard then OS itself.

My guess would be the PSU, as it is not a "high end" one, 750w means nothing

Update to this still don’t know what’s wrong with it, and since I have no spare parts I have no way of testing if it’s any of the actual parts, but I’ve narrowed it down to it shutting off when I’m playing games it runs Rainbow six siege fine but when I play Wildlands breakpoint it will turn off and turn right back on.

Well your GPU is overclocked, overclocking often makes system unstable, so maybe don't go so aggressive on it...
