Solved by Mira Yurizaki,
Let's see if this works:
- Shrink the C: partition by about 200MB.
- Create a new partition in that space, give it some drive letter. For the sake of an example, let's mark it as S:
- Right click on S: and select "Mark as Active"
- Open a command prompt as an Administrator
-
Type in the following command:
Bcdboot C:\Windows /s S: - Unmark D: as being active. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/unmark-a-partition-as-active/40f6d20b-1514-42b6-8b14-c7fc18c6324a shows you how to unmark a partition as Active
