USB 3 hub recommendation

Hi i find myself in need of an usb 3.0 hub the only such i have found locally had such an short usb cable on it that was perma attached that the hub would have to hang from the usb port on the back of my pc. Also it cost 400 Norwegian kroner. Im an Norwegian living in Norway btw.

For sure they do make them with a longer cable than that.  What stores do you have available where you live?

The kroner gave it away.

 

a kroner seems to be worth around 11¢ atm, so $44 for a not very good usb hub strikes me as pretty excessive.

 

Im randomly choosing fasttech because they have a “ship anywhere in The world for free” thing.  They don’t do it even remotely quickly, but they do it. I can only make USD work there myself, and I don’t know what kind of outlets y’all have over there, but this one seems to be what would be in the 60-70kr range.

I have elkjøp, Expert  and clas ohlson for physical shops selling electornic stuff.

I think my wife has this one here in the states  and I think the cable is 3 feet (1 meter) long.
